Thamalakane River Lodge

Set on the lush banks of the Thamalakane River in Botswana the Thamalakane River Lodge offers its guests magnificent views of the riverbanks which are frequented by a wide array of birds and water fowl. Breathe in the deliciously refreshing river air while you enjoy the Lodge’s luxurious facilities including the excellent full service restaurant and large swimming pool. Or take a game drive into the nearby Moremi Game Reserve which is home to elephant, buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog and much more!

Accommodation:

10 Standard Chalets
The free standing thatch chalets are comfortable and spacious, and feature a rustic interior stone wall, en-suite bathroom consisting of a shower, hand-basin and toilet, and are equipped with tea & coffee making facilities, ceiling fans and mosquito nets and a private patio with a river view.

The Lodge has recently completed the development of an additional 3 Superior Chalets, 3 Superior Luxury Chalets, and 2 Family Units.

3 Superior Chalets
The spacious stone and thatch Superior Chalets sleep 2 adults on double or twin beds and 1 child can be accommodated on a mattress on the floor or on a single bed. Rooms are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, ceiling fans and mosquito nets.

3 Superior Luxury Chalets
The Superior Luxury Chalets have added luxuries including private splash pools. En suite bathrooms consist of shower, toilet, and vanity slab with his and her hand basin. The Chalets sleep 2 adults on double or twin beds and 1 child can be accommodated on a mattress on the floor or on a single bed. One of these chalets is the honeymoon suite with a 4 poster king size bed. The rooms are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, ceiling fans and mosquito nets.

2 Family Units
Consisting of 2 bedrooms sharing one bathroom, the main bedroom accommodates 2 adults in either twin or double beds and the other bedroom sleeps 2 children on twin beds.
           
All the Chalets and Units overlook the river.
