Her extensive experience in various roles—from consulting to sales and marketing—enables her to expertly support our travel consultants as they connect clients with the magic of Africa.
Shalene was born and raised in Durban, South Africa, where her career in travel began in 2008 at a prestigious inbound tour company, where she gained comprehensive knowledge of the industry. Life then brought her to the stunning city of Cape Town, where she has lived with her family for the past 12 years.
She has been fortunate to work in various roles within the travel industry, from consulting to sales and marketing. This diverse experience has made her skill set invaluable and provided her the opportunity to explore some of the most popular game reserves in Southern Africa and stay at many stunning hotels.
Shalene’s passion lies in exploring new destinations and immersing herself in diverse cultures, as each journey brings fresh experiences, perspectives, and the joy of discovery that never fades.
