Located on a working wine farm in Franschhoek, the Villa Grange offers a private and peaceful retreat in the heart of the Cape’s winelands. Once a village barn, then a restaurant and jazz bar, the historic villa with its soaring poplar-beamed ceilings and double-sided hearth was sensitively converted to create a welcoming private villa with earthy colour palettes.
The open-plan interior with kitchen, dining area and lounge opens up onto the long terrace overlooking the pool to the vineyards and mountains beyond. Each of the 3 suites opens onto another terrace at the back of the house, ensuring plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The loft upstairs is in the roof space with 4 single beds and is only suitable for children up to 16.
