Ryan brings calm confidence, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for helping travellers experience Africa at its best.
Ryan grew up in Cape Town’s northern suburbs and completed his Diploma in Tourism Management at Nelson Mandela University. He began his career in the tourism industry in 2024 with a six-month internship split between Contracting and FIT Reservations at a previous tour operator, where he gained a solid understanding of how the different parts of a tour operator function. After graduating, he returned as a Junior Reservations Administrator before joining JENMAN African Safaris as a Groups Consultant.
His interest in tourism began in high school, sparked by learning about global cultures and destinations. Although he has travelled widely in South Africa, he is excited to explore more of the continent as his career develops.
Ryan finds fulfilment in helping travellers plan their once-in-a-lifetime journeys. With experience across multiple departments, he brings strong organisational skills, a calm approach under pressure, and a well-rounded understanding of operations.
A standout moment in his career so far was a pre-Indaba road trip from Cape Town to Durban, where visiting destinations he once only booked gave him a deeper appreciation for South Africa’s diversity.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys slowing down and spending quality time with friends and family.
