Born and raised in Cape Town, Ali discovered his interest in accounting during high school, which led him to study Financial Management and gain hands-on experience at an accounting firm. His career path has included roles in retail and healthcare recruitment before shifting fully into finance. With time, he realised that in-house bookkeeping offered the challenge and growth he wanted. Combined with his love for the outdoors and his goal of travelling more, joining a company in the tourism and hospitality space felt like the right next step.
At Jenman, Ali manages financial processes with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring results are delivered quickly and correctly. He enjoys the problem-solving aspect of his work, especially when tight deadlines require clear thinking and precision.
Outside of the office, Ali keeps active by playing soccer, running, and taking long drives to unwind. Although he hasn’t travelled internationally yet, he hopes to explore new countries in the future.
