Based in Cape Town, Sandy has built her career in tourism through hands-on experience in guest relations, front desk operations, and travel consultancy. Her time in the industry has shaped a strong appreciation for genuine connection, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a commitment to making every guest feel welcome.
Her interest in people and places developed through exploring different parts of South Africa. From road trips along the Garden Route to visits to Durban, she has always been drawn to the experience of travel. One of her most memorable experiences was shark cage diving in False Bay, a challenge that pushed her beyond her comfort zone and deepened her appreciation for the ocean and the natural world.
Outside of work, Sandy enjoys the simple things, including hiking, baking, and spending quality time with her family.
