Our Botswana travel packages offer travellers the opportunity to experience a magical African adventure on a grand scale. From the vast expanse of the Kalahari and the magnitude of the Okavango Delta to the wildlife wonders of Chobe, Moremi, and Khwai River, this wonderful part of the world is inviting discovery.

Okavango Delta

The Okavango Delta’s floods are fed by the Angolan rains, which start in October and finish in April. The Delta’s water ends in the Kalahari Desert – with over 95% of the water eventually evaporating – hence sometimes referred to as ‘the river that never finds the sea’.

Nata Bird Sanctuary

Visiting the Nata Bird Sanctuary while on safari in Botswana, will bring you to the home of more than 160 bird species. These include flamingos, pelicans, ducks, geese, ostriches, spoonbills and eagles, of which the African fish eagle is a standout. Grasslands birds, such as ostrich, kori bustard, secretary bird and black korhaan may also be observed throughout the year.

Khwai River

The Khwai River lies between Chobe National Park and Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana, and is a scenic pearl of the Okavango Delta. A safari to the Khwai area satisfies one’s appetite for adventure, wildlife sightings, and an immersion in nature.

Chobe National Park

Also known as ‘The Land of Giants’ due to its large elephant population, Chobe National Park occupies 12 000 square kilometres in the north of Botswana. Its northeastern corner meets with Zimbabwe, Namibia and Zambia and animals move freely between the countries, making the area ideal for an authentic Botswana safari.

Makgadikgadi Salt Pans

The Makgadikgadi Salt Pans are the largest salt pans in the world. Surrounded by the Kalahari Desert, it features its own unique ecosystem which attracts a diverse range of wildlife to be spotted on your holiday to Botswana.
