Graeme and Keryn Macey

After 3 years in the making (thanks to COVID) we have now completed our JENMAN African Safari Northern Experience from Cape Town to Victoria Falls – Graeme and Keryn Macey

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Garth, Johann and Kyle for all of your efforts I have found all of my dealings with you were always professional, courteous and timely. At one stage it looked like we would have to cancel this trip and you all did what you could to accommodate this, thankfully were did not have to cancel and have now had one of the trips of a lifetime.

I now want to take this opportunity to address the actual trip by firstly thanking our guides Warren Tilling and Norbert Ndlovu and our driver Tanguni (Mr T as he became affectionally known). All were extremely professional, friendly and happy to assist with any request from needing to change money to finding souvenir hats to purchase. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble but I am sure that by the end of the trip we had worn them out. All of your staff are extremely knowledgeable and excel in their various rolls. We could not fault their performance.

The accommodations provided on this trip were all of a very high standard (all were different) which made it a more interesting and exciting experience. Unfortunately there was only one issue we encountered with the accommodation and that was at Oppi Koppi Restcamp although we were accommodated extremely well, initially your staff (Norbert and Mr T) were placed in substandard accommodation with outside ablutions and well away from us. We thought they were being treated as 2nd class citizens. Fortunately this was rectified and the same standard accommodation as ours was arranged (if this is a common occurrence you should consider finding an alternative stopover).

All of the included activities were also extremely well organised and professionally conducted. Again we were treated extremely well and nothing was an issue for anyone. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately due to maintenance issues we were unable to experience the cable car to the top of Table Mountain which I am sure would have been another highlight 😩.

It was absolutely fantastic and amazing to be able to experience and view the vast array of animals and birds in their natural habitat. It was extremely exciting to be able to be up close and personal with lions, elephants, giraffes, rhinoceros and hippos just to name a few and all of your staff went out of their way to ensure we got to see as much as we could. Unfortunately we will have to do a return trip to see a leopard 😊.

As this was a bucket list trip and a trip of a life time the time, effort and planning put in by Jenman and all of your staff has made this an unforgettable experience. We would not hesitate to highly recommend you to family and friends who may wish to have a fantastic experience. We would also be highly likely to use Jenman Safaris should we plan a return visit.

In closing I would like to again than you all for making this trip an experience of a lifetime. The entire trip has been amazing, the people of South African, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe were great to meet and were so welcoming and friendly. Obviously encountering the animals was the ultimate highlight and we have many photographs to remind us of all we experienced. Almost forgot Victoria Falls was also amazing and another unforgettable experience (especially by helicopter).

Thank you

Your sincerely

Graeme and Keryn Macey
