Dear Blessed,
It’s not the easiest job in the world to escort a bunch of old retired couple around Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa. I sincerely hope when this reaches you that both you and your extended family are all in the best of health and you have now returned safely to Southern Africa from your holiday in Europe. I would like to thank you for a job well done and as an extension of these thanks I would like you to convey my thanks to Owen as well.
There was an enormous amount of driving involved and I think he did an excellent job. Madagascar and the Wild Coast between Durban and Port Elizabeth is certainly etched on my radar. I’ve watched a few documentaries featuring the Wild Coast of South Africa but haven’t managed to see much on offer regarding safaris in anything other than private game reserves in this part of the country. There’s a great story to be told here regarding Nelson Mandela and the Xhosa as well.
Blessed, you’re helpful, considerate, and a real asset to the JENMAN Safari operation. I do know both Sharyn and myself really enjoyed our Trek in Africa and we are both looking forward to our return in August. Every time we go to Africa we see something new and I’m sure this time won’t be any exception. With your help it should be a pleasant experience.
Please pass on my regards to Deb in the office and hopefully we can all get together at ‘The Gold Restaurant’ in Cape Town in August. Ask Deb to bring along her husband as well and please pass on my thanks to Garth and any others who were involved at Jenman Safaris.
See you in August
Regards Leo and Sharyn
