Cape Town

The award-winning city of Cape Town is one of the top destinations in Southern Africa and included in every South Africa safari itinerary. Stay at the Cape Milner Hotel, Cape Town and enjoy the spoils and boutique shopping of the V&A Waterfront, one of Cape Town’s top attractions. You will see the best of Cape Town’s sights on your own private tour. Explore the inner-city gems and the scenic Atlantic Seaboard, Kirstenbosch Gardens, Boulders Beach Penguin Colony and finally Cape Point.

Kruger National Park

Stay at the elegant Shiduli Private Game Lodge during your Kruger Park safari, and surround yourself with the sights and sounds of nature. The African bush is a very special place and here you’ll fall deeply in love with the people and the game experience of the Kruger National Park. Pre-Tour Information

Flights

Jenman Safaris can arrange all domestic and regional flights for this South Africa safari. You’ll need a domestic flight between Cape Town and Johannesburg which is not included in the price. Please enquire with our reservations office.

Transport

Airport transfers are usually conducted in sedan vehicles or minibuses. The game drives will take place in open 4×4 vehicles.

Visas

The onus is on the client to organize all visas required to visit South Africa on the Cape Town and Kruger Experience.

Travel Insurance

Please note that travel and cancellation insurance is mandatory for every guest travelling with JENMAN African Safaris. All insurance is solely the responsibility of our guests. Please ensure you arrange your own insurance with protection for the full duration of your journey to cover personal injury, damage and loss of personal items including but not limited to camera equipment and other electronic items, medical expenses, repatriation expenses and loss of luggage, etc. Please speak to your travel agent if you require assistance.

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by a representative from JENMAN African Safaris, who will transfer you to your hotel. You have the remainder of the day at leisure to acclimatize and relax at the hotel facilities.
This morning you will be collected and taken on an orientation tour of the city. You will see the Company Gardens, Greenmarket Square, the SA Museum and Bo-Kaap. The afternoon can be spent at leisure. We suggest a visit to the V&A Waterfront, situated in the heart of Cape Town’s working harbour, offering an abundance of indoor shopping and entertainment.
The day is spent exploring the Cape Peninsula and visiting Hout Bay on the Atlantic coast before heading off to Cape Point for lunch. In the afternoon we head back via the Boulders Beach penguin colony.
In the morning you will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport. Flight CPT/HDS (not included in the costing) From Hoedspruit Airport, you will be met and transferred to your lodge situated in the Greater Kruger National Park area. In the late afternoon you will embark on a sunset game drive in the area, followed by dinner.
The next two days will be spent exploring the world-renowned Greater Kruger wildlife area with its diversity of life forms, in search of Africa’s Big Five. Keep those cameras ready on game drives in open safari vehicles and/or bush walks and cultural excursions!. During your stay you will have the opportunity to grow your conservation footprint by planting an indigenous or fruit tree in the local community. A complimentary t-shirt is given with every tree donated and leave knowing you played your part in planting the seed of conscious travel.
This morning after a last hearty breakfast in the African bush, you will be transferred back to Eastgate Airport in Hoedspruit for your onward flight, or transfer to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg (not included).
