Set among many Acacia trees and surrounded by many other indigenous plants and trees, Ndutu Safari Lodge is overlooking Lake Ndutu. This is really one of the only lodges that you stay in and can see the Migration Calving, because of its unique location on the Serengeti Plains. Wildebeest and zebra flock the surrounding woodlands not to mention the many other animals and birds that are drawn to this shady and protected area.
There are 34 private, stone cottages spread out amongst the trees, each with it’s own private veranda overlooking Lake Ndutu. The cottages have replaced the existing tents but this does not cause any barriers between you and the wildlife. Enjoy watching the resident animals enjoy a drink around Ndutu’s water holes, all to be seen from your very own cottage veranda. Each cottage has its own en-suite with shower, hand basin and flush toilet. It is true that this lodge offers the only bar and restaurant for a 50km radius.
