Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Samantha had the privilege of experiencing the country firsthand. Growing up in Bulawayo, she was introduced to African wildlife at a young age through school trips to national parks. This sparked a passion for travel that has only grown stronger over the years. Samantha is dedicated to creating memorable travel experiences for others, whether working with groups or independent travelers. She tailors itineraries to meet their specific needs and expectations, always striving to ensure that her clients leave Africa enriched with lasting memories and a sense of personal growth.
Samantha started her career in the customer service industry, which brought her to the travel industry, where she discovered her fascination with beautiful destinations. After completing her Travel and tourism diploma with IATA, she started with Jenman Safaris in 2019. Her commitment to crafting memorable travel experiences has grown since then, deepening her knowledge and passion for travel in Africa.
One of her fondest memories of African wildlife was going horse riding with her aunt in the Matopos at the age of 10. Visiting Cecil Rhodes’ grave and witnessing the unique rocky beauty of Matobo National Park helped her appreciate the area’s cultural and historical significance. It was then that she realized just how much there is for visitors to see and appreciate in her home country.
From those early years, she decided that her favorite wild animal is the elephant – so huge, majestic, and quiet. In 2024, she took a river cruise in Chobe, Botswana. This was the closest she ever got to an elephant and to a hippo. She was amazed by this excursion, and love to hear about similar experiences from our guests after they’ve been on safari. She has so many special safari destinations to recommend, the sky’s the limit.
