Grow Africa’s Vision Redefined

2017 was a successful year for Grow Africa, our responsible tourism foundation, a year of growth and achieving significant goals. We are proud of our successes and look forwarding to impacting further positive change in the areas our partners JENMAN African Safaris and Hideaways operates in. To continue doing so successfully, we decided to redefine our identity in a way that resonates with our founding principles but also reflects our growth and evolution.

Vision

The Grow Africa Foundation as a self-sustaining foundation that collaborates with local communities and partners to create and support sustainable social and environmental projects.

Grow Africa as an inspirational foundation instilling a sense of purpose and pride for Jenman African Safaris and Hideaways, as well as their employees, clients, and partners.

Mission

“To be the Bridge between Challenges & Solutions, Good Will & Action”

  • To Grow Awareness – Highlight the challenges and difficulties associated with poverty and conservation.
  • To Grow the Community – Empower local communities and individuals through collaborative support of their sustainable upliftment initiatives.  Creating a sense of purpose & achievement and promoting harmony & inclusiveness.
  • To Grow Conservation – Initiate and support local conservation projects through action, awareness, funding, and education.
  • To Grow the Economy – Hire, train and upskill locals.  Buy locally and support local sustainable business initiatives.

This vision and mission clarifies who we are, what we do, and what we aspire to achieve. They are both fundamental to our long-term success and allow us to set impactful sustainable goals. We want to sow seeds for growth in Africa because we are profoundly aware of its value and opportunities, and we want to cultivate those seeds through a collaborative partnership with the captivating continent and its people.
