Journey to the Pride Lands • 10 Days

This 10-day safari tour is based on the legendary adventure of The Lion King. This tour starts in Nairobi and takes you to Mount Kenya, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and the Maasai Mara before returning to Nairobi. A tailor-made package that guarantees an outstanding experience, with comfortable transportation in a fully equipped safari vehicle, safari game drives, and many unique activities. This safari package promises to be an entertaining and fascinating tour across the Pride Lands.

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be transferred to your accommodation in Nairobi. Depending on your time of arrival, a variety of activities can be organized. The following day, you will be taken on a tour of Nairobi City, the Kazuri Bead Factory, the Giraffe Centre, and the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. The third day brings you across the equator, stopping for photos before arriving to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Upon arrival, you will eat lunch before going on an afternoon game drive across the 360-square-kilometer reserve. Children will be handed a workbook that include various tasks and questions to complete during the game drive and visit to the chimp sanctuary the next day. After which, they will meet with a Tourism Ranger at the Morani Information Center, who will assess their data gathering and administer the ranger oath before providing them with a ranger hat and honorary certificate.

Your will then continue to Lake Nakuru National Park where we will enjoy a game drive on arrival. After exploring Lake Nakuru, you travel down the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha. After a boat ride on the lake, you’ll go on a guided walking safari to Crescent Island. You’ll continue south into Maasai Country, where we’ll visit the world-famous Masai Mara, that inspired the film The Lion King. Maasai Mara National Park is one of Kenya’s most fascinating parks, hosting the annual wildebeest migration, which brings over 1.5 million wildebeest and half a million zebras from the Serengeti in search of greener pastures. The tour ends after breakfast on your last day and you will be transferred to the airport for your outbound flight.

This 10-day private safari tour showcases the best of Kenya. Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be transferred to your accommodation in Nairobi. After a tour of the Bead Factory you head to the Giraffe Centre, where you can learn about the endangered Rothschild Giraffe and experience an up close and personal encounter. After which you head to the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage for a special behind the scenes visit. You will then be transported to Kenya’s most popular park, Amboseli National Reserve, where you will participate in safari game drives.

Then proceed down the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha to enjoy a boat tour on the lake, and a full day game drive with packed lunch. Then you’ll stay in Mara Eden Safari Camp in the Maasai Mara, a small boutique tented camp set in the middle of the valley where you an expect full-day game drives across grassy plains and hills, with the famed Acacia trees and plenty wildlife.
