Pre-Tour Information

Transport

You will be picked up at Cape Town International Airport for transfers between Cape Town Airport and your hotel (or vice versa), 2×4 vehicles may be utilized. All luggage, besides hand luggage and photo equipment, is carried on the vehicle or trailer roof racks to ensure maximum comfort in the vehicle. Some game drives may be conducted in open-sided safari vehicles.

Visas

The onus is on the client to organize all visas required to visit the countries stated on the itinerary.

Discover the Cape Peninsula’s wonders on a full-day adventure that takes you along the scenic Atlantic coast, with a stop in Hout Bay. Your journey continues to Cape Point, followed by a visit to the charming Jackass penguin colony at Boulders Beach . Delight in a relaxing lunch break in Simon’s Town as part of your exploration.
Following a delightful breakfast, you’ll be transferred in your private vehicle for the day, heading towards the charming town of Stellenbosch, where you’ll spend the next three nights. Stellenbosch, known as the “City of Oaks,” is a charming and historic town situated in the heart of the Cape Winelands. Its oak-lined streets, Cape Dutch architecture, and vibrant cultural scene make it a favourite destination for travellers seeking a blend of rich history and modern-day allure. With an array of boutique shops, art galleries, and cozy cafes, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to soak in the local culture and charm. Upon arrival and check-in at your hotel, prepare to enjoy a Jonkershoek wine tasting and a guided cellar tour offering insight into the estate’s winemaking philosophy and the distinctive terroir of the Jonkershoek Valley. With the remainder of the day at your leisure, the possibilities are endless. Today after breakfast, you will be chauffeured in your own private vehicle to Vrede en Lust Wine Estate for an tranquil horse-riding experience. Nestled in the idyllic foothills of the Simonsberg, within the renowned Franschhoek wine valley in South Africa, this estate offers a truly unique way to explore the picturesque surroundings. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a warm welcome and a 30-minute briefing, ensuring you are well-prepared for your 1-hour horse riding adventure.  As you saddle up, get ready to immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the area, where you can leisurely admire the breathtaking views of majestic mountains and sprawling valleys. After the invigorating ride, you will journey to Rickety Bridge for a delightful wine-blending experience. Make your way to the city center, where you will embark on a delectable Cape Classic Cuisine Walk with a Stellenbosch specialist guide, strolling through the old town centre to learn about its fascinating history and culture.
