Relax and explore on the beautiful island of St Marie Madagascar, a small island stretching only 50 km long and 7 km wide. Enjoy various activities such as boat tours, road trips, quad bike tours and many more (own expense).Pirate Cemetery – The Pirate Cemetery is an absolute must-see destination when visiting St Marie Island and is the only pirate cemetery in the world.

Whale Watching

The best time to go whale watching in Madagascar is from June to September. Whales are fascinating creatures, their awe-inspiring size and mysterious habits have earned them legendary status among sea-dwelling mammals. Madagascar is a fantastic place to spot these great giants of the deep.

Pre-Tour Information

Departure

When arriving in Antananarivo on the morning of day 1 of the Île Sainte-Marie Beach Package, you will be picked up from the airport and embark on your tour. Should you arrive prior to day 1, pre-tour accommodation can be arranged and you will be picked up from your hotel on the morning of day 1 (Pick up time will be confirmed on arrival).

Visas

A visa is required to enter the territory of Madagascar and can easily be obtained upon arrival at the airport of Antananarivo with a validity of up to 60 days. Tourists staying for less than one month can purchase a visa for 115’000 Ariary (around 35 €). Paying with the exact amounts or small currency is advised. No photographs are required, however, please ensure that passports are valid for at least 6 months after the return date.
