Day 1: Welcome to Arusha
Your first taste of Tanzania starts in Arusha, where Mount Meru stands tall. This city is the stepping stone to some of Tanzania’s most unforgettable sights, including Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The African Tulip (or similar) is where you will rest and prepare for the adventure that awaits.
Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
The next day, expect to navigate through an intricate weave of ecosystems, from woodlands to water forests and hot springs. Visit the home of the world’s largest baboon population and keep your eyes peeled for the tree-climbing lions! At the end of the day, relax and unwind at Karatu Simba Lodge (or similar), conveniently located near Lake Manyara.
Days 3 & 4: Serengeti National Park
The crown jewel of your journey lies ahead – the Serengeti National Park. Known for the annual wildebeest migration and incredible wildlife sightings from prides of lions to herds of elephants, Serengeti is a dream destination for any traveler. Spend two nights at Kisura Serengeti Camp (or similar), as you tune in with the African bush.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
The tour continues towards the Ngorongoro Crater. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a plentiful wildlife, it is one of Africa’s undeniable highlights. Picture a natural amphitheater hosting an array of animals – lions, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes, to name a few. Your overnight stay will be at Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp (or similar), placed right in the heart of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
